Football and Volleyball Scenes

Image
We filmed our first commercial. We filmed for the entire class period. We have the brand Nike. We planned to bring material for nike and film on the track and in the gym. I used the picture of the storyboard on my phone to see what to film. I used my phone to capture all of the shots. With the first few scenes I filmed. I got a close up of the football and filmed the ball flying in the air. I told the actor where to stand to see what was best. Next to film our next scene I was the actor. I played as a volleyball player and brought my own kneepads from home. I searched for a volleyball behind the bleachers. The knee pads said Nike. In the shot I pass a ball but dive on my knee pads in order to pass it. We got a close up of the knee pads. I dove about 10 times for the shot. I also got a shot of just standing and passing. After this I sent the videos to everyone. We then discussed which clips were good and which ones we have to edit. I am not sure if all of the clips are good and can make

Story Board Analysis   First scene: During the first scene, we are going to keep an extreme close-up angle of the subjects' feet, and slowly pan upwards to capture the Nike clothing the subject is wearing, until we get to around his shirt.   Second scene: The second scene will show a Medium-long shot of the subjects Nike shirt, the camera will also catch a football in frame in the subject's hand, implying that the subject is going to throw the football   Third scene: the third scene will be a bit more complicated; it will show the subject in slow-motion throwing the football towards the opposite end of the field. A tracking shot will follow the football through the air.   Fourth scene: In the fourth scene the camera will be cut to Nike knee pads on the actor in the gym, preparing to play in the Nike gear. This will be an establishing clip.   Fifth scene: For the fifth scene we be doing a wide shot of our actor playing volleyball. We will have extra focus on the use of the knee

I choose to be in a group for this project. This project is where you have to film a 30 second commercial about a brand. I am working with Ava Kanter, Nick Pearlman, and Charles Worth . I know a few people in this group and I feel like we will work good together. I feel that I chose my people wisely and that we will get a good commercial. Group projects in my opinion are easier and faster than individual projects. We can all share the workload and hopefully make this as easy as possible. We haven't discussed what brand we are doing or how we are doing it yet.We talked about how I was going to be the actor since they do not want to be. Hopefully by Friday, we can choose a brand and start doing the storyboard. I'm excited to make this commercial.I am also excited to see what we will end up with as our commercial. However, I don't think it will the best because of all of our lack of film knowledge. We are all hard working students so the product should be decent. But 30 seconds

I am Wren Ruby and I'm an 11th grader at Fort Lauderdale High School.I came to Fort Lauderdale for their magnet programs and also because of my friends.I was born in Hollywood, Florida. I have lived in Florida my whole life. I currently play volleyball for the school and also for a club outside of school. I have been playing since 8th grade. This is what I'm most passionate about. I also enjoy outdoor activities. Like the beach, snorkeling, and paddle boarding. I like to do something outdoors everyday, if I can. I am not the biggest fan of school so I am not too excited about it returning after Covid. I also don't enjoy wearing masks during school. I don't like waking up early and having to be focused for 7 hours a day. However I look forward to playing volleyball after school. I am excited to learn the filming process in this class and how to edit as well. Even though I don't like school I am excited to go to college, so I do try really hard and put effort into my
