Finished Movie:  https://youtu.be/dV1kBvKC-fo Can't wait for you to see the finished product!

Production: All Done!

Finally me and Riana finished! The final product is really good and better than expected. We loved watching the final product and seeing our hard work pay off! I ended up editing the first part of the video, then Riana finished it. I loved watching it all together for the first time. The genre we picked for our video was Drama. The video definitely fits the category. It was very dramatic and appeals to the right audience. The video had dark lighting, dark scenes, and a dark message. You can say the video also fits the Thriller category as well. The video has aspects of both because Thrillers are usually more upsetting films. My favorite scene to film was the "shadow" scene. We had to record our shadows fighting. It was hard to film because we had to record from many different angles to try to not get us in the shot. That scene was super funny and enjoyable to film. Riana's favorite scene to film was the "Birds-eye view shot". We both enjoyed this because as she

Production: Changes made from Film Review

Today was review day! Me and my partner Riana reviewed the film over face time. We knew it would be easier this way. We weren’t nervous about getting out full result. This is because we knew that if anything looked wrong or somehow even deleted we said that we had time to go back and film. During this review I really saw this as a video for the first time.We had a lot of footage overall. We had some footage on her phone and on my phone. At first it was a lot go through because some clips were only 2 seconds long. Some scenes we filmed, and multiple seconds in someone messed up or we ruined the shot. This process was lengthy at times because of reasons like this. There was over 100 videos on my phone alone. Then we had to go through and watch and delete footage we didn’t like. This was easy at first. However it got more complicated when we had two different versions of a scene and we had to then agree which one we liked better. We pretty much agreed to keep the same clips and thought thi

Production: Our Song!

The music part of this surprisingly was one of the hardest choices for us. It took us pretty long to finally choose the song. We had a song that was not royalty free in mind. We couldn’t get the rights from the artist so we had to figure out a new song fast. We struggled because we kept putting off finding the perfect song. We knew we would find it but we didn’t want to choose yet. Our video is dramatic and depressing. We need to be careful with our song choice and make sure it really adds to the film. I environed the music video going along with the music. To be more specific, for example, a loud chorus playing when the actor slams the door. Knowing I wanted a song that we could match up with the video I was hoping to find the right one. We ended up choosing a song. I am excited by this choice and before making the video I was hopeful that it would be good for the project. Me and Riana both enjoy music that tells a story and impacts listeners. We wanted to add to that fantasy with the

Production: Very First Film Review

Me and Riana finally finished filming! We are so relieved and excited. We know now we have to review all of our footage and see what we don’t like versus what we do. We did review the clips here and there on film day but we didn’t review all. Me and Riana have a week or so to finish editing so we knew we could review another day. Once we started reviewing we saw a total of 3 things we didn’t like. First of all we saw that the scenes going right after each other had different lighting(time of day). We knew this was a problem as this had to be the same day and time as the scene before that. So we wrote that down as our first problem. We only had one scene with this problem so, so far we only need to redo one scene. This was the scene in the middle of the girl stealing her dads money.  Next we saw a problem with the father’s clothing in one scene. Our very first scene we tested the look of the area and the lightning. Our actor, was wearing normal clothes in the scene to try out the lighti

Production: Finally Finished Filming

It was me and Riana’s final day of filming. We both reviewed the film at home earlier and came ready to talk about what we wanted to change. Before coming I saw all of the footage we have created. I realized I didn’t like how the “slamming door scene” looked. Knowing that I only sent that footage to her and we started finishing the last few scenes. We had a few more scenes and little clips to film. This last day out of 5 was the fastest because of how little we had left. We had a problem filming the scenes with the “drugs or pills”. We didn’t know what to use for the pills and the pill bottles. We didn’t have any of those orange ones that most people have. So we decided to just have the actor taking the pills. (Later that day we find a pill bottle and incorporate it in to the film). After finishing filming we finally discussed what we thought we should change. She agreed with me and we ended up changing the way the door slammed. As we seem to be done filming. We start playing around w
