Putting all of the shots together
Today me and my team edited the commercial. I don't know much about editing. This was my first real experience editing something like this. My teammate Charlie, did the editing on his computer. We all helped with the process however I sent the files all to his laptop. Me and my team all viewed the footage today in class. We all went with the storyboard and put the clip of the shoes rising to the ball first. This shot was a full panorama of our actor. Me and my them then decided to slow down the next clip of the football flying in the air. I had to pick the right footage for this one because I shot this scene multiple times. Once my group and I finished editing the football scenes we decided to zoom into the football and blackout the screen. This would cut to our volleyball scenes. My group used the same concept as the football scenes and rose from the volleyball players shoes to up where the ball was. Our Nike prop for the volleyball was the kneepads, so I used special affects to zoom in and highlight the symbol on those. Finally one of my team members added the logo scene to the end of the commercial with Nike's slogan, "Just do it". Once, the group thought the commercial was completed we reviewed it together. I analyzed the commercial from the perspective of someone who has never seen it before. I liked it for what little time we had. Next day in class we will make more edits as team. I will also research music choices for the Nike commercial because they have certain music choices.
